Merrion Square hosts open air art displays every Sunday, and the city's streets are alive with cafes, restaurants and galleries. From food festivals to comedy and music events, you certainly won't be bored in Dublin in the summer.
Dublin in the Autumn
Autumn is a beautiful season in Dublin, with Phoenix Park turning spectacular shades or red and orange. The weather in autumn is cool and sometimes rainy, but equally often crisp and clear - perfect for walking along the canal bank. The theatre festival and fringe festival in September bring plenty of life and laughter to the city.
Halloween is a big deal in Ireland, and you can expect plenty of spooky delights to lighten up the dark October evenings - wrap up warm against the chill.
